Struggling in attacking 1v1s?

Here are a few tips I’ve learnt over my career📝

Using your pace, if you have speed, use it! It’s that simple, instead of keeping the ball close to your feet, put the ball into space and turn the afterburners on✅

Using skills or dribbling, close dribbling techniques are something I say I'd specialise in, using the outside of your foot mainly. Keeping the ball close to yourself in tight areas is key in progressing the ball through into key areas to hurt opponents (scoring or assisting)🤝⚽️

You can practise 1v1s on your own quite easily, just make sure you always go at match pace and really emphasise on how quickly you can change direction and attack space.🏃‍♂️💨
